SinIRC is a free speech IRC network. By free speech, we mean you can say anything you want. You may be banned from channels for expressing your opinion, but usually unless the administration thinks otherwise, you will not be banned from the network.Since SinIRC is free speech topics, opinions, and some users may not be 'nice'. If you're looking for a network full of users shitting rainbows, SinIRC is not your network.
Regardless of our free speech policy, if a member of the network staff sees fit to remove you, your channel, etc, from the network, they can. Using SinIRC is a privilege, not a right.

History
I started SinIRC in 2008 running InspIRCd and Atheme off my laptop to learn how IRCd's and IRC Services work. Originally SinIRC was 'Sindacious IRC', being in the beginning I had no real intention of starting a network. Later Hamlin linked a server from a free shell, and I started taking things a little more seriously. Later john_priest linked his server after being unhappy with Nightfire. At this point I decided to start taking the network more seriously, marking the real birth of SinIRC, no longer 'Sindacious IRC'. Later I switched the network to Nefarious IRCu and X3 IRC Services because I loved some of the X3 features which includes command binding, and more.- Sindacious
